Micah's biliruben shot up a bit, so the doc advised a simulated trip to Maui. If only, huh? Jordan, Becca and Micah did an overnight stint at UVRMC so Micah could lay in the bilirubin bed (lots of special lights to help the jaundice improve). Well, that did the trick, because this morning, the doc came in and declared him fit to go home. In fact, Micah is only one ounce below birth weight now after having lost about 9 oz during the week! He is a sleepy eater, so we all get to have a little fun "stimulating" him to eat by tickling and rubbing his head, tummy and belly. It's really fun to squeeze his toes and rub a cool washcloth on his feet, too!
